Richard Mayhew (1924-2024) was an American painter, illustrator, and arts educator. He was much more than an ordinary landscape painter, his use of vivid and striking colors and instinctual technique, enabled him to explore emotion through landscape imagery. In this ode to his amazing tenure of work, I created a digital painting project that allows you to create your own emotional landscape, or "mindscape".
